The Challenge: Managing Industrial Heat Stress
In the tropical climate of Malaysia, factory environments often face a common enemy: stagnant, high-temperature air. At this particular site in Klang, the client well aware of this issue and engaged us in the early designing stage, hence avoided the significantly higher costs associated with retrofitting a ventilation system after the factory is operational
The production of this factory involve heavy cooking/frying, whole production floor is fully concealed in PU panel room for compliance. Air-conditioning is not a viable solution due to the high heat load, and expecting no natural fresh air movement.
The Solution: CrystalAir Custom Ventilation Strategy
After a site audit, our team at CrystalAir proposed a tailored solution using our very own Fixed type air cooler, industrial exhaust fan and most importantly a set of kitchen exhaust hood system for the cooking!
The goal wasn’t just to move air, but to create a positive pressure cooling system that pushes hot air out and draws treated, fresh cooled air in.

Technical Specifications & Installation Details
To achieve the target temperature drop, we implemented the following technical configuration:
- Fixed Type Evaporative Air Cooler : 2 nos of CrystalAir AC-300
- Kitchen Exhaust Hood : 2 nos of [10′ x 5′ x 20″] Island Style S/S exhaust hood
- Kitchen Exhaust Motor : 2 nos of branded 2.0HP 3-phase Axial Fan Motor
- Exhaust Fan for Prep Area : 2 nos of CrystalAir Fiberglass Exhaust Fan EXF-250 with weather hood.
- Exhaust Fan for Storage Ares : 1 nos of 16″/2880cmh Commercial Exhaust Fan with mechanical shutter-grille
- Ducting: Rectangular Galvanized Steel (G.I)
- Installation Date: Dec 2021
