Portable evaporative air coolers are suitable for areas where fixed ducting is not practical, where the working position changes, or where only a specific zone needs cooling. They are commonly used in factories, warehouses, workshops, open-sided production areas, loading bays, events, temporary work zones and rental cooling applications.
Unlike air conditioning, a portable evaporative air cooler does not require a closed room. It uses water evaporation and high air movement to create a cooler airflow, making it more suitable for semi-open and well-ventilated industrial spaces.

The actual cooling result depends on site ventilation, humidity, roof heat, worker position, machine heat, air direction and distance from the cooler. For factories and warehouses, our team can recommend a suitable model based on your layout and usage pattern.
Smaller models are suitable for close-range cooling, while larger models are better for wider areas or longer air throw. For industrial use, airflow is usually more important than only looking at the water tank size.
Portable evaporative coolers perform better in open, semi-open or well-ventilated areas. For enclosed rooms that need precise temperature control, air conditioning or a chilled water system may be more suitable.
Before choosing a model, check the available power point, floor condition, doorway size and whether the cooler needs to be moved between different zones.
