The Challenge: The Limitations of Passive Ventilation
Many factories and warehouses rely on “passive” ventilation—meaning they hope for natural wind to move hot air out. However, in Malaysia’s tropical climate, heat often gets trapped under the roof, creating a “stuffy” environment that reduces worker productivity and can even damage equipment.
This client needed a more reliable, “active” way to force the hot air out and pull fresh air in, across both their ground and upper floor levels.
The Solution: CrystalAir Active Ventilation System
Instead of relying on luck, we installed a series of CrystalAir Box Type Exhaust Fans. Unlike standard wall fans, these are designed to move massive volumes of air quietly and efficiently.
Key Design Features of this Project:
Symmetrical Airflow: Fans were installed on both the left and right sides of the factory to ensure no “dead zones” where air stays still.
Dual-Level Coverage: We used the same high-efficiency design for both the ground floor and the upper floor levels to maintain consistent temperatures throughout the building.
Active vs. Passive: While passive vents just “let air out,” this active system forces a complete air exchange multiple times per hour, keeping the factory filled with fresh, cool air.
Why Box Type Exhaust Fans?
High CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute): They are capable of moving the large volume of air required for an industrial warehouse.
Durability: Built for long operation hours in industrial environments.
Low Noise: Despite their power, they maintain a professional working environment without excessive vibration.

The Result: A Cooler, More Productive Factory
The customer was extremely satisfied with the immediate drop in temperature. By actively removing the heat at the source, the factory now remains comfortable even during peak afternoon hours.
